Things to visit

Labenne is not all and only about surfing. With a huge water amusement park, a reptilarium, a wine distillery, a zoo, an outdoor adventure park and several well maintained tracks for horseback riding and MTB, Labenne has something to offer for everybody.

Hit the road and find yourself being struck by the beauty of the Pyrenees, stroll along the famous boulevard of Biarritz, go wine tasting at one of the renowned chateaus in the area or practice your Spanish while savouring on delicious tapas in San Sebastian. And all of this within a short driving distance.

‘Snow is only frozen water’. Get up early and go cruising through virgin powder in the surrounding mountains. The first slopes can be found at only half an hours drive from our house. Descend back to the beach in the afternoon and rinse the sweat off your body while duck diving under a blue wave. Believe me, an epic snow-and surf session in the same day is enough to put a massive smile on even the most spoiled boarders face.

Being here is also the ideal moment to go shopping for your new outfit or wetsuit, because all major surf brands have their headquarters and outlet stores in this area.

Enough of the peace and tranquillity of Labenne? Then head down to the extensive nightlife of Bayonne, Hossegor or Biarritz for a gourmand diner or a heavy night out.

And don’t worry about drinking and driving. Our taxi service will get you home safe even in the earliest morning hours.

We have been here for a while now, so please ask us for our advice to get the most out of your holiday.
